The Department of Health and Social Development in Postville are busy running and preparing programs and events for their community.
Vyann Andersen-Goudie is the Mental Health & Addictions Worker with DSHD.
She says Mental Health Week is from May 6-12, 2019.
DHSD Postville has a busy week of planned events for the whole community.
Mom, toddlers and Babies will meet at DHSD today and drive to the Rapid for a boil up.
On Wednesday, May 8th starting at 3 pm there will be a Youth Cooking Class at DHSD. For more information, contact Candy at 479-9878.
Postville will be doing a Hope Walk on Thursday, May 9, starting at 6 pm.
This walk is a walk for life, Participants will walk to the nearby Rapid and back.
There will be drivers along the route for those that cannot complete the walk.
Walkers will receive a back pack, water bottle, toque and sunglasses.
On Friday, May 10th, there will be a Movie Night for Moms starting at 8 p.m. at the DHSD Building. Snacks will be provided.
