The Nunatsiavut elections officer wishes to advise Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement of the preliminary results of July 1st by-election in the Constituency of Postville for Ordinary Member to the Nunatsiavut Assembly:

George Gear 45
Voter turnout: 53 per cent
The votes will officially be counted early this week, at which time a candidate will be declared elected.
The Nunatsiavut elections officer wishes to advise beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement that George Gear has been elected Ordinary Member for Postville. This follows the official vote count for the by-election in the Constituency of Postville for Ordinary Member to the Nunatsiavut Assembly that took place on June 30th.
