Notice to the Nunatsiavut beneficiaries, the Polar Bear season is now open for 2020.
Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement are advised that the 2020 Polar Bear licences for the Labrador Inuit settlement Area will be issued under a draw system.
Todd Broomfield is the Director of Renewable Resources for Nunatsiavut government.
He says they have twelve polar bear licences available.
Broomfield adds the closing season is June 30th, 2020 or when the twelve polar bear are harvested.
