Nain DHSD will be offering an overnight on the land/fishing retreat for women who find it hard to get a chance to go off on the land.
This will be taking place tomorrow April 21st-22nd, spending the night at Maria E. Merkuratsuk’s cabin at Itillialuk and Tom’s Pond.
This overnight trip will only be for women ages 30 and up and won’t be able to have any children attend this trip.
There will be a maximum of 7 women chosen, but if there are more than 7 women interested, they will do a live draw using the wheel of names to do selections of who gets to attend.
They may have to plan future programming if families would like to do something similar for later dates.
