The OKâlaKatiget Society has obtained funding for two Media Interns.
This position will start June 1st, 2022 for 20 weeks.
Restrictions include but are not limited to:
• Transcribing
• Contribute to the TV Department as an assistant in transferring of television shows to VHS and DVD format
• Help to transfer old format music and audio files to digital
• Will be trained in use of cameras and filming of shows for production of “Ilonnata”
• Researching story ideas
• Interviewing, story-writing
• Assisting radio producers with all aspects of radio production, and
• Any other duties in TV production as required
You must be between the ages of 18 to 30, have a strong interest in Media and Communications, the ability to work independently, and knowledge of Inuttitut language a strong asset.
