NWR Beach Festival

The North West River Beach Festival was established in 1986.

Since then, it has evolved not only into Labrador’s largest outdoor music festival, but a great Labrador tradition.

This year, the Beach Festival is held on this weekend of July 22nd and 23rd.

The largest indigenous outdoor music festival in the province of NL happens in North West River at the end of Route 520 Central Labrador.

The festival will take place at the Lester Burry Memorial Park.

This is a fun event for all ages, events will include live entertainment, games, concessions, auctions, along with fireworks.

There are serviced lots available for camping, and a water hose will also be available, but there is no dumping station, on the old ball field area on airstrip road.

OKâlaKatiget Radio will have more updates on the Beach Festival when it becomes available.
