The Nunatsiavut Government intends to provide a home repair program to provide general home repairs to Labrador Inuit residents in the 5 Inuit Communities of Nunatsiavut.
Tenders are to be received no later than 4 pm on February 11th, 2020 at the Nunatsiavut Government offices in Rigolet, Nunatsiavut.
Summary of Scope of Work: The Nunatsiavut Government has completed assessments of the homes which have applied for repairs to determine the scope of work required.
In total, 36 homes have been approved for repairs across the 5 Inuit Communities. Bidders may submit a tender for the work for all of the communities collectively, or for select communities, however bids for select communities must include the work all of the homes identified in a community.
Verification of site dimensions and conditions will be the responsibility of bidders. Bidders must be familiar with general construction methods and all applicable building codes.

Tenders may be submitted by email or mail and must be clearly marked “CONSTRUCTION SERVICES – NUNATSIAVUT HOME REPAIR PROGRAM 2019” The lowest-cost or any proposal may not necessarily be accepted and the Nunatsiavut Government reserves the right to cancel this RFP.
Proposals will be evaluated on the principles of value for money, which include an evaluation of the Inuit Content Factor pursuant to the Procurement Act.
