The Nunatsiavut Assembly sitting is taking place in Hopedale today.
Today marks Day 1 for the assembly.
At 9 am this morning, they started off the assembly by a prayer followed by the opening address by the President.
On the agenda they also discussed: recognition of visitors in the gallery, Minister’s statements, member statements and return to oral questions.
On the agenda it states the hiring for work on the Family Trees (AngajukKâk Flowers to First Minister); request for an update on LATP reopening in Nunatsiavut and the migratory bird hunt in Upper Lake Melville.
