The Nigivik Centre in Nain has been in operation now since December of 2018.
Their work hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 12 noon, and again from 1 to 4:30pm.
The Food Security Coordinator is Debbie Lyall.
She sent us this month’s schedule of planned activities.
Activities planned for today February 8, families who are interested in learning and making homemade bread are welcome to drop by to the Nigivik center now until 8pm this evening.
On tomorrow agenda for February 9, they will be teaching elders on how to bake, bake goods from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
On Friday, February 10, one staff member from the Nigivik center will be going down to the youth center to assist and help youth to make cinnamon buns this will take place from 3pm to 4:30pm.
