The Department of Health and Social Development is holding the National Addictions Awareness Week this week in Nain.
We spoke with Rutie Lampe and Elsie Russell the Mental Health and Addictions Workers for the Department of Health and Social Development.
The “A Community of Caring” is this year’s theme for National Addictions Awareness Week, the event began yesterday, Monday, November 7 and will end on Friday Nov 11, 2022.
They will be holding a Community Supper for the public, Subway will be served for the community supper on Thursday Nov. 10, 2022 and 4:45-6pm at the JS Center along with door prizes.
