Brent Dennistion is the Assistance Coach and Chaperon.

He says they travelled to Stephenville on Sunday April 21.

And the Tournament began that day and ran until April 24th.

Denniston says the Midgets Minor hockey Team the Torngat Mountain Redcats placed fourth overall out of 6 teams.

The team consisted of 10 players from Nain and 4 players who joined from Natuashish.

Denniston says the Nain midgets were practising every week since January and holding practises.

They held a lot of fundraising to make this trip possible.

Big thank you to the Nain Fire Department, Nain Recreation Department, The Ullapitsaijet and for parents of the hockey players who help fundraise and to make this trip possible.

This year the First place team went to the Southern Shore, second place went to Port of Basque and third place went to Glover Town.

He adds over all the experience was good, teams players played really well and competed hard and it was a good experience.
