The Mental Health Support Team has an event for Nain.
Rosie Hurley, Peer Support Worker, Trauma and Addictions Mobile Team for Hopedale is in Nain for two weeks.
The Mental Health Team has an event called Rosie’s Anânak Amauti for Nain.
On Wednesday, August 2nd from 1-3:30pm there will be an art project therapy on Amauti’s located at DHSD.
Elsie Russell, Mental Health and Addictions Worker for Nain will also be there, she adds that this is mainly aimed for mothers.
There will be tetuk, along with homemade redberry mandarin buns, this is open to all mothers.
Russell adds that if you have an emergency, is overwhelmed, stressed, or depressed after hours you can contact the Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-888-737-4668, or the Inuit Hope for Wellness Line at 1-855-242-3310.
A reminder note to yourself is to please rest, drink plenty of water, go fishing, eat well, and exercise.
