Moose Hunt at Gros Morne (Audio to be added later)

The annual moose hunt at Gros Morne National Park, the Nunatsiavut Government went ahead last month.

Todd Broomfield is the Director of Renewable Resources for the Nunatsiavut Government.

Broomfield says that they had 30 moose licenses that are non-profit from Parks Canada, registered through the Ulapitsaijet Committee here in Nain.

They had four hunters from Nunatsiavut partner up with 4 other hunters from the island.

Broomfield also says that once rendered they will be sent to Goose Bay on the last week of this month, and will then be ready for distribution to the Local community freezers.
