Peggy Andersen is the Assistant Manager for the Illusuak Cultural Centre.
Andersen holds a program called Mittsulautta, a temporary name, with hopes of having it changed in the future.
Andersen mentions how she enjoys the togetherness of people and is happy to includethe Tupik pilot project along with her Mittsilautta program.
Andersen speaks of how sewing, crafting, painting, drawing and other artistic things are very therapeutic for her and feels that it applies for the people who attend her programs as well.
Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 6 pm, Peggy will be holding one of many Mittsilautta programs at the Tupik for anyone who’s interested in joining her on doing any crafts. She asks whoever will be joining to supply your own materials, and that if you are bringing a child or children, to please have them supervised. All residents of Nain are welcome, young, and old, she hopes to see you there.
