The CYN workers and the Recreation Department got their recreation schedule for the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre in Nain.
Today, February 28, children 5-7 years of age have Afterschool Program from 2 to 5pm; they will be some baking and activities in the gym, followed by women’s volleyball at 8pm.
The JS Centre will be closed From Monday, March 6 to 11 due to Cain’s Quest week.
On Monday, March 13, anyone 13 years and older will be making some earrings from 3 to 5pm.
There will be a pool tournament on March 18 for anyone 13 years and older from 3 to 5pm.
There will be an adult dart tournament on March 25 at 7pm, and the fee will be $10 per player.
On March 31 at 6pm, the Recreation Department will be having a community bonfire at the volleyball court at the playground.
Afterschool Program is through Monday to Friday, from 3 to 5pm.
Card games are every Monday and Wednesdays at 7pm.
Seniors have bingo every Thursday from 1:30 to 3pm.
For Women’s Volleyball, it is held every Sundays from 2-5pm, and every Tuesdays from 8-9:45pm.
Men’s Volleyball is every Wednesdays from 8-9:45pm, every Friday from 9 to 10:45pm, and Saturday from 2 to 5pm.
Badminton is held every Mondays at 8pm, and co-ed Volleyball every Fridays at 7pm.
