The Makkovik Inuit Community Government would like to inform residents that the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is providing COVID-19 Relief in the amount of $250.00 for each household.
The cheques will be delivered on Friday, July 10th between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.
The owner of the household will be required to sign a Letter of Acceptance when the cheque is delivered.
Please note that this is a one-time COVID-19 Relief payment from the Provincial Government.
You are also asked to contact the Town Office if you will not be home on Friday, and they will make other arrangements for pick up or delivery of cheque.
