The Labrador Aboriginal Training Partnership would like to notify the residents of Nain and Hopedale that they now have 2 new Nunatsiavut Career Counsellors for the north coast.
The LATP offices are both located in Hopedale and Nain.
We spoke with the two Nunatsiavut Career Counsellors.
Georgia Abel is the new Nunatsiavut Career Counsellor for Hopedale.
She says she will be holding an open house from Monday, June 19, 2023, at 6-8 pm and again on Tuesday, June 20, from 1-4 pm.
Abel says right now she does not have access to a work phone, but clients can get in touch with her by email.
The open house location will be at 15 Centre Avenue, in the post office building.
She adds that this will be a great way to meet staff members, enjoy some refreshments, and to win a door prize.

We also had an update with Career Counsellor Leah Blake from the Nain office.
She would like to inform the residents of Nain that her office is open, for those who would like to get their resume updated, you can do so by contacting Blake.
