Inuit Studies Conference

The Inuit Studies Conference is a multidisciplinary and international conference that brings together university researchers and students, as well as professionals, directors, teachers, decision-makers, from Inuit organizations, institutions, and governments.

The conference includes cultural activities and workshops of interest to the general public.

The University of Winnipeg and the new Inuit art centre, Qaumajuq – Winnipeg Art Gallery will be hosting this event in person from Wednesday, April 6 to Saturday, April 9, 2022, on Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

They are currently accepting applications for artists who wish to attend the conference and sell their work.
