Internship Opportunity for Youth in Northern Labrador (Audio)

The Marine Institute with Memorial University (MUN) in St. John’s, NL is looking for youth to apply for the International Aboriginal Youth Internship (IAYI) initiative.

Heather Dicks is an International Program Officer with the Marine Institute with MUN.

She says that she will be travelling to Hopedale today, and will be in Nain tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Dicks says that the interns will work with the National Institute of Culture and History and Galen University in Belize for 4 months.

To be eligible, here are some requirements:

Be legally allowed to work in Canada, be of Aboriginal affiliation, and be between the ages of 18 to 35.

All travel and accommodations will be paid as well.
