The Nunatsiavut Assembly was held in Hopedale for the September sitting.
Edward Blake Rudkowski is the Speakers for Nunatsiavut.
They hold 5 scheduled meetings, 5 times a year and meet every September.
During the assembly, the trust and board members of the Labrador Inuit Capital Strategy Trust attended this years meeting.
They also had Mr. Chris Webb with the NCG Nunatsiavut Group of Companies and one senior staff, Darryl Shiwak in attendance.
He says change is an ongoing process and they are constantly trying to evolve as a government.
They have a full complement of ministers who manage their departments and are constantly trying to provide a better lever of service to all beneficiaries.
Rudkowski says they had 6 or 7 invited guests for the presentation of the trust and they had a couple guests who sat in during the ferry discussion.
The past emotion is going to be making a request to the premier of NFLD and Labrador Mr. Dwight Ball and his minister of transportation to meet with the AngajukKât as well as our First Minister Kate Mitchell to discuss the concerns that Nunatsiavut Government has about the quality of the ferry service that has been provided since the new boat was in operation.
