There are tickets on sale for a chance to win a Honda or a Ski-doo.
Lisa Ivany is the Recreation Director for the Nain Inuit Community Government.
She says the Honda is valued at $10,000 and the Ski-doo is valued at $15,000.
The Honda is displayed at the JS Centre and the Ski-doo is displayed at the Northern.
Ivany would like to thank and acknowledge the Northern Company for helping with the tickets on the Ski-doo.
She says that they purchased them from Notre Dame in Happy Valley Goose Bay.
With the money raised from the tickets, the Recreation Department will help groups around the community.
She also adds that there will be some recreation events going on such as the Pre-Advent sleepover and a Rummage sale.
