The Nain Recreation Department is busy with the Halloween activities at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre this year.
Lisa Ivany is the Recreation Director for the Nain Inuit Community Government.
She says there will be a Halloween movie night tonight and tomorrow night, October 23rd and the 24th, 2019 for children ages 5-7 at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre.
For tonight, they will be watching Toy Story 4, and tomorrow night, they will be watching Hotel Transylvania 3 both starting from 6:30-8 pm.
On Saturday, October 26th, 2019 will be Candy Apple Making for children ages 5-7 and 8-12 years of age.
And depending on if the pumpkins arrive, they will be holding a Pumpkin Carving on Sunday, October 27th.
A Halloween Community Dance will be held on Tuesday, the 29th from 6-8 pm with kids dress up, games and door prizes to be won.
There will also be a Haunted House on the 30th from 6-8 pm.
And on Halloween Day, October 31st, there will be a Halloween Party and Cash Bingo starting at 11am for Senior’s ages 55 and up with lunch provided.
