The Eastern Health would like to inform the public that there will be construction at the entrance of the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s.
The construction will begin on October 16th.
The work will result in a permanent extension of the main entrance to provide additional indoor space to help facilitate COVID-19 screening upon arrival of the facility.
Patients, clients and visitors will continue to be able to access the facility through the main entrance during the construction and normal safeguards will be in place.
However, the public is to be advised to proceed with caution and follow posted signage in the area.
The Eastern Health would like to thank the public for their cooperation during this time.
They would also like to remind the public to assist with physical distancing while in their health-care facilities and to arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointments.
