Inuit elders from all five Inuit communities, Upper Lake area and the Canadian Constituency arrived to Nain yesterday to attend to these years Elder Conference.
This year they have guest’s speakers from Northern Quebec attending for this special occasion.
The conferences began with a meet and greet last evening at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Center that started at 6pm.
The Elders Coordinator this year is Beverly Hunter from Hopedale.
AngajukKâk Joe Dicker said a welcoming speech.
