DHSD Nain Halloween Activities

The Nain Department of Health and Social Development will be holding their Halloween activities this week.

We spoke with Alice Okkuatsiak who is the Community Health Worker.

She says this evening at the DHSD they will be holding a Ghost story telling for ages 16 years and older starting at 6pm.

Okkuatsiak says for those who come out to the ghost story telling their will is a door prize followed by treats for those who attend.

The pumpkin carving is rescheduled for Saturday October 27, 2018 with all the seats filled, door prize and treats will be available.

She says the seniors will have a merchandise bingo Tuesday October 30th at 1:30 pm.

Seniors can come up dressed up, and three prizes will be drawn for dress up and a door prize.

And the Window decorating contest will be judged on October 30th starting at 6:30 pm.

Prizes for the window decorating contest follows: first prize is a $100 gift card, second prize is $75 and third is a $50 gift card.
