The Department of Health and Social Development in Hopedale will be hosting a brunch tomorrow to celebrate TB Day.
Kim Dicker is the Public Health Nurse for DHSD. She says that they have a Facebook Page that people can go into to like and share and pamphlet so that you can have your name entered into a draw.
She says that the prize is a one-hundred-dollar voucher for groceries or the gas station.
Dicker adds that they have a window promotion where residents will be asked to promote TB and to take a picture to entered for another prize draw.
The DHSD also have a radio spot, they will be giving out general information about tuberculosis, and people can call in for questions and answers. Another prize draw will be held for this event as well.
Kim Dicker also adds that they will be moving into their new building on Thursday on Water street.
