Newfoundland and Labrador have issued warning of a dangerous drug in our province called Dilaudid 8’s on June 2, 2023.
People have been reporting a dangerous drug.
-We have received anecdotal information of a possible contaminated drug that has resulted in overdose.
-These pills look like Dilaudid 8’s, but may contain Fentanyl.
-Fentanyl in these pills increase the risk of overdose and death.
Call 911 in the event of an overdose. Carry a Naloxone Kit.
Start with a test dose and go slow. Don’t use alone.
