COVID-19 Micro-Business and Artist Program Re-Launched

The Nunatsiavut Government is announcing the re-launched of the COVID-19 micro-business and artist program for a second round of funding. The program seeks to mitigate financial pressures and allows registered Inuit micro-business and professional artists to strengthen operations and increase business viability.

The divisions of economic development and tourism are delivering the program, which is funded by the Indigenous community business funds through Indigenous Services Canada (ISC).

Successful applicants from the first round of the program do not need to reapply and will receive an additional $2,500 for micro-business and $1,000 for artists. New applicants must apply and may be eligible for a non-repayable contribution for up to $7,500 for micro-business and $3,000 for artist.
