Nominations for Candidates are now open for the Municipality of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and will be received between the hours of 8am – 8pm on Thursday, November 17 this year, at the Town Hall located at 212 Hamilton River Road.
Nominations shall be in writing and state the name and civic address of the candidate and shall be signed by the proposer and seconder, both of whom will be present together with the candidate who shall also sign signifying his or her acceptance.

Every candidate for election to the council shall at the time of his or her nomination, deposit with the Returning Officer for the non-refundable sum of $10.00.
