OK Radio called each of the communities to see what meats they have in their community freezer.
The Hopedale community freezer is offering moose meat, and dry good such as flour, teabags, salt, baking powder, and sugar twin.
They are running low right now on the dry goods, after that is gone, they won’t have anything else to give.
The Makkovik freezer has some Artic Char and smoke char.
The Postville community freezer got some musk ox and some cod fish.
The Rigolet community freezer will be restocked and they have very little at this point.
