OK Radio has contacted the coastal community freezers to see if they are still open to the public and to see what they have to offer.
In Nain and Postville, their Inuit Community Government offices are closed to the public due to the COVID-19 virus.
Hopedale is open to the public and are offering moose and some dried goods such as flour, sugar, butter, baking soda, cereal, soups, noodles, and Kraft dinner.
The Makkovik Inuit Community Government does not have anything to offer at the moment.
And the Rigolet Inuit Community Government would like to notify their residents that they have been delivering moose meat and char to those who would like any meat and will be doing so once a week.
