OKâlaKatiget Society contacted each of the coastal communities to see what they offer in their community freezers.
This is what they have to offer:
In Nain they have moose meat, char and seal meat.
In Hopedale they have moose, char, cod, sugar, tea, milk and soups.
Moose char and cod fish in the Postville freezer.
Makkovik has char to offer in their freezer.
And in the Rigolet community freezer they have moose, char, bake apples, red berries, cod, cod heads and scallops.
