Cain’s Quest Day 5- Defending Champs Setting the Pace (UPDATED)

The defending champs continue to set a blistering pace in the grueling Cain’s Quest race in Labrador.

Team 22, Maine Racing/Southern Sno Riders, Andrew Milley and Robert Gardener, arrived in Goose Bay, NL from the checkpoint in Eagle Plateau at 6:58 am, and are expected to leave Goose Bay en route to the second last checkpoint after their 12 hour layover in Goose Bay.

Team 00, Innu Hawks, Len Rich and Aaron Poker, arrived in Goose Bay, Checkpoint 17, at 8:35 am today, and are expected to leave after their 12 hour layover in Goose Bay.

Team 88, Southern Sno Riders/Team Maine Racing, Dixon Clements and Scott Biddle, arrived in Goose bay at 8:43 am, and are expected to leave at 8:43 pm after their 12 hour layover.

As of now, there are 10 teams scratched from the race. They are:

Team #77, Sons of Labrador- Brad Pye and Trent Parr

Team #78, North West River- Paul Cooper and Isaiah Crane

Team #79, Newhook- Eric Newhook and Daniel Newhook

Team #17, Labrador Adrenalin- Dave Dumaresque & Shannon Strangemore

Team #11, Yamaha/Rockstar/OTSFF– Ian Hayden and Lee Butler

Team #92- We’re Gone- Ryan Leaman and Cameron Boozan

Team #36, Nord Cotier- Jean-Francois Trembley and Reginald Trembley

Team #63, Portneuf/Nord Cotier- Benoit Roberge and Sebastion Trembley

Team #69, Frenchie’s Outdoor Shack- Broderick Barney and Wayne King

Also, Nain Team #94, Conrad Jenkins and Malcolm Wolfrey, made it to Makkovik, and are scratched.
