Here’s a Cain’s Quest race update from Day 2, March 3, 2018.
Team #17- Dave Dumaresque & Shannon Strangemore have officially scratched.
Team #11 – Ian Hayden and Lee Butler, are both officially scratched.
Also Nain Team #94, Conrad Jenkins and Malcolm Wolfrey, made it to Makkovik and also scratched.
Cain’s Quest began their live evening news update on CQTV.
CQ Host, Sean Murphy presented an interview with CQ Chair Glenn Emberley & CQ Vice-Chair, Rob Pilgrim to bring fans up to date on today’s emergency response.
To date, there have been no reports of illegal trail use or other race infractions.
Racers have been treated to welcoming crowds of community members, eager volunteers and warm meals.
Hundreds of volunteer crews have been working together to make Cain’s Quest 2018 an incredible off-trail racing experience for the determined forty-one teams.
Cain’s Quest would not be possible without the time and energy put in by so many people.
