The Torngat Wildlife, Plants and Fisheries Secretariat will be holding Bear Guard Training and Workshops this month.
Derrick Pottle will be the instructor for the Bear Guard Training.
According to the Torngat Wildlife, and Fisheries Secretariat face book page they will be traveling to Nain, Goose Bay and Postville.
They will hold the training in Nain on March 13th to the 16th, 2020.
Then they will travel to Happy Valley Goose Bay on March 20th to the 23rd, and lastly they will be holding the workshops and training in Postville on March 27th to the 30th.
They are completely free two-day course and/or two one-day workshops.
Attendance on both training days is required to obtain bear guard certification, but all are welcome to attend any or all days that are of interest.
