Are you a Nunatsiavut Beneficiary and would like to submit your artwork to an upcoming exhibition?
We spoke with Karine Gaucher the Programming and Communications Director with La Guilde exhibitions.
La Guilde invites Inuit artists from Nunatsiavut to submit artwork for the upcoming exhibition “Our Beautiful Land” which will take place in Montreal in October 2019.
Gaucher says they are looking for Nunatsiavut artists to submit their work to their gallery and they can also provide the arts supplies for Inuit artists from Nunatsiavut.
She says they are able to send free art supplies to any Inuk artist based in Nunatsiavut who wants to submit to the exhibition.
To apply you have to fill out an online form on their website at www.laguilde.com by February 11, 2019.
Be sure to submit your artwork to the exhibition by May 24, 2019.
The goal of this exhibition is to promote the art created by Nunatsiavut artists.

She adds this is a great way to recognize the work of artists and giving them a space to showcase their art was always their main mandates at La Guilde.
