The English River Fish count near Makkovik is just about closed up for the summer.
Todd Broomfield is the Director of Renewable Resources for the Nunatsiavut Government.
He says they will be closing up the fence beginning of October and the numbers for this year are very good compared to last year.
Fall season has also approached and the hunting season for moose and geese are now open.
