It is the second year for the Fraser River Fish Count this year.
Craig Taylor is the Fisheries Analyst for Torngat, Wildlife and Plants Secretariat.
He says it was a big year last year installing the fish counting facility and cameras to collect some data.
They’ve set up the site for this year as of July 16th and 17th and plan for a longer season to the end of August.
Taylor adds that they had a little bit of damage to one of their out buildings from last Spring during fishing season.
