Trades Newfoundland and Labrador held open houses along the coast to offer employment support.
Scott Hudson is the Employment Outreach Worker for Trades NL.
He says the open houses got five participants to apply and immediately worked with them to secure employment.
People can also apply online, but it is recommended to email Hudson.
