The Nain Inuit Community Government has a few things on the go this summer.
Beni Ittulak is the Manager for the town council.
She says thanks to funds from Nunatsiavut Government, they will have solar panels installed to the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre.
They’re also going to be repairing the lower roof of the JS and will be putting up a warehouse next to the building.
Ittulak says that they were hoping to be able to repair the waterlines this summer but it will be going to tender.
They’ll also be doing repairs at the subdivision, and will have the pylons up as they’ll be doing a sewer capacity study.
Ittulak adds that they tore down the Martin Hall yesterday.
