Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement residing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are advised that frozen caribou meat is available.
Meats can be picked up at the Salvation Army parking lot on Churchill Street today, Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Elders who are 65 years of age and older are eligible to receive the caribou. Only one meal per household.
For those who are unable to pick up the caribou, alternate arrangements will be made to ensure a meal is delivered to them.
