The province has announced temporary measures to help address the cost of living:
A temporary 50% reduction province’s gas tax which will lower gas by 8 cents per litre; the gasoline tax reduction will be in effect until January 2023.
A life-time home heating supplement for furnace oil, which will be available this fall and will be based on household income; and,
Committing to a $15 minimum wage by fall 2023.
