A book titled “A Long Journey” was released in the fall of 2020.
Andrea Proctor is the Author of the book, and the book is based on Residential Schools in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Proctor says that this book came from the Healing and Commemoration Project that was started three years ago after Trudeau came to the province to make an apology.
The book was written based on stories and interviews from residential school survivors through consultations and individual interviews.
