The Nain Inuit Community Government has received funds for Community Enhancement Employment Program.
NICG is taking names and the number of hours needed to qualify for Employment Insurance.
Joe Dicker is the AngajukKâk for NICG and he says that the advertisement will be posted for anyone to apply for the enhancement program.
Some of the project descriptions will include the following:
Construction of garbage bins, to erect a new and repair old cemetery fences, cleaning of the Moravian Church, to put up the community Christmas tree, make and sell crafts, and other duties as required.
This program applies to individuals who need less than 400 hours to qualify for EI.
The expected start date for the project is Friday, October 23rd, 2020.
