The Education Minister says masks will be mandatory in Grade 7 to 12 classrooms where physical distancing of at least one metre can’t be maintained.
Minister Osborne says additional buses won’t be in place until the end of September, but he assures that all students who are eligible for school busing will have it.
Public exams scheduled for January have been cancelled. Minister Osborne says they’re also looking at whether June public exams will go ahead or be cancelled.
The Minister says further details will be provided on measures to make school safer will be made on Thursday.
