There have been some festival cancellations due to the pandemic along the North Coast.
The organizers for the festivals in their respected communities have been following the regulations and the precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
There cannot be more than 50 people at a gathering with physical distancing being maintained.
In Postville, the Fun in the Sun Festival would have been going ahead approximately July 25th to the 27th.
The Beach Festival in North West River would’ve been happening by now, the end of July.
The Salmon Festival in Rigolet would be going ahead sometime in the first week of August until the second week.
In Makkovik, the Trout Festival would have the same time period as the Salmon Festival in Rigolet.
And the Tusannituk Music Festival in Nain would be going ahead in August at the end of the month.
