The Youth Symposium will be held in Nain this year from March 15th to the 20th.
Heather Angnatok is the Regional Youth Administrator for the Nain DHSD.
She says there will be 36 participants in total from along the coast including Happy Valley Goose-Bay, Northwest River and one youth from the Canadian Constituency that will be attending the youth symposium.
Also, the Nunatsiavut Department of Health and Social Development are seeking one senior/elder from each of the communities of Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik and Rigolet to participate in the upcoming Youth Symposium.
A daily honorarium will be provided.
