The Pan Labrador Choir was held in Hopedale last Thursday, February 27th, 2020.
We spoke with Jennifer Winters who is one of the choir directors for the Amos Comenius Memorial School.
She says students arrived on the 27th from the Nunatsiavut communities of Nain, Hopedale, Makkovik and Rigolet.
They had Kelly Walsh to direct the Pan Labrador Choir and had the Shallaway choir from St. John’s participated.
Winters says they also had Dr. Buley from MUN, the accompanist Jennifer Hart, and a special guest Deantha Edmunds.
She also adds that it was a spectacular event, the students and teamwork from the staff, community, and participants went very well.
