Beneficiaries are reminded that hunting caribou outside of Torngat Mountains National Park is illegal.
The Nunatsiavut Government is advising Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement that they are not permitted to hunt caribou outside of the Torngat Mountains National Park.
The current provincial hunting ban remains in effect.
The Nunatsiavut Government is committed to the protection and conservation of the George River Caribou Herd.
Any illegal harvesting activities should be reported to conservation officers.
