OK Radio contacted the Team Leaders in Rigolet and Postville to see what is planned in their communities.
Lorraine Allen is the team leader for the Rigolet DHSD.
She says they will be holding a soup lunch at the community hall on Friday, March 6th.
The youth ages 13 to 18 years old will have an outing and will be going to Pompey’s Head Camp from March 10th to the 12th.
The Elders will also have an outing from March 24th to the 26th.
There will be a supper for World TB day on March 31st.
Barbara Edmunds is the Team Leader for the Postville DHSD.
Edmunds says there will be a School Nutrition Bingo and a Community Radio Bingo but haven’t decided on the details.
From March 23rd to the 27th, there will be Winter Active games where people can play sports and keep active.
